The earth’s lungs are burning and we need to help

The Amazon Rainforest is often referred to as the ‘lungs of the planet’ because it produces more than 20% of the planet’s oxygen. Currently Brazil’s Amazon Rainforest is seeing its most devastating fires to date, which have been burning for weeks. So the oxygen WE breathe is at stake! And why? Largely in part to the significant deforestation of the Amazon rainforest driven by human consumption.
