WHAT IT IS

Now, in addition to all the laundry & mending you’ve come to love and enjoy, the Germantown Laundromat is also a space to:

  • Get some work done 

  • Catch a talk or performance

  • Learn new skills

  • Meet your neighbors

    …and more!

Whether you work from home and could use a change of scenery, or just like the idea of being around new people and having some new experiences… 

Our hope is that The Fold is a warm, inviting, constructive, fun third space that is there for you when & how you need it.

HOW IT WORKS

Members have full access (via a personalized door code and monitored security system - smile for the camera!) to our cozy indoor space complete with WiFi, a printer, tea & coffee, some basic kitchen appliances, a super cute bathroom, and a growing collection of magazines, books, and board games! 

Members can also enjoy our back garden area (bocce or s’mores anyone?), perks related to events & workshops, and other goodies which will unfold (!!) along the way.

APPLICATION

To become a member you must be: 

  1. Known or recommended (we are intentionally beginning with a smaller web)

  2. Agree to being respectful to the space & community

  3. Pay $50/ month (or, limited options to volunteer an equivalent amount of time available upon request!)

Again, this is a prototype! This means we will watch and learn and adjust as needed.
